Accepting these terms

By opening or using any page on codesbeautify.com ("the site", "we", "us") you agree to these terms and to our privacy policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

What the service is

CodesBeautify offers free, browser-based developer tools: formatters, validators, converters, encoders, generators and calculators. There are no accounts and no paid plans. We may add, change or remove tools at any time without notice, and we do not guarantee that any tool will always be available.

Your content

Almost every tool processes what you enter locally, inside your browser tab, so we never receive it. A small number of network tools, such as DNS lookup, WHOIS, HTTP header and redirect checkers, need to contact the internet on your behalf. For those, the domain, IP address or URL you type is sent to our lookup service, used to fetch the result, and not stored.

You keep all rights to the content you process. You are responsible for making sure you are allowed to use it, and for not pasting secrets such as passwords, private keys or personal data of other people into any online tool.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • use the site for anything unlawful, or to process content you have no right to use;
  • use the network tools to scan, probe or overload systems you do not own or have permission to test;
  • send automated traffic, scrape the site at a rate that degrades it for others, or try to bypass rate limits;
  • attempt to break, reverse engineer for attack, or interfere with the site or its hosting;
  • click on advertisements dishonestly or encourage others to do so.

We may block access for anyone who breaks these rules.

Intellectual property

The site design, text, code and branding belong to CodesBeautify unless stated otherwise. Open-source libraries used by some tools remain under their own licences. You may link to any page freely. Output that a tool produces from your input is yours to use without attribution.

Advertising and third-party links

The site is funded by advertising, including Google AdSense. Ads are provided by third parties who are responsible for their own content and for how they use cookies, as described in the privacy policy. Links to other websites are provided for convenience. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content or practices.

No warranty

The tools are provided "as is" and "as available". We work hard to make results correct, but we do not promise that any output is accurate, complete, secure or fit for a particular purpose. Check important results, such as generated code, hashes, conversions and calculations, before you rely on them in production, legal, financial or medical decisions.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, CodesBeautify and its operators are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from your use of, or inability to use, the site, including loss of data, revenue or business. Because the service is free, our total liability for any claim is limited to zero, except where the law does not permit such a limit.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows the latest version, and continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
