About the Circle Text Generator
Unicode reserved a whole block called Enclosed Alphanumerics for letters and digits drawn inside a ring, and this generator swaps your typing for those glyphs one character at a time. Because the result is genuine text rather than an image, it survives copy and paste into a username field, a comment box or a spreadsheet cell, and screen readers still announce something rather than nothing.
Five shapes are available. The outline ring covers A to Z in both cases plus the digits zero through nine. The solid ring only exists for capitals in Unicode, so lowercase letters borrow the capital shape and the result reads as small caps inside dark circles. Square variants use the Enclosed Alphanumeric Supplement block, which is capitals only for the same reason. Bracketed letters are the odd one out: parentheses exist for lowercase across the full alphabet but stop at nine for numbers.
Anything the chosen block does not cover passes through untouched, so punctuation, emoji and accented letters stay readable instead of turning into boxes. Test a short phrase in the app you plan to post it in before committing to a long caption, since older Android builds ship patchy coverage of the square blocks.

How to use
- Type or paste a phrase into the left pane.
- Pick a shape from the Shape menu to see outline, solid, square or bracketed rings.
- Copy the circled result and paste it into your bio, caption or chat.
Common questions
- Why do lowercase letters look capitalised in the solid style?
- Unicode never encoded solid circled lowercase letters, so this tool maps a and A to the same glyph. Use the outline style if you need lowercase circles.
- Can I circle numbers as well as letters?
- Yes for the outline and solid rings, which cover 0 to 9. The square shapes have no digit glyphs, so numbers stay plain.
- Will the circled text show up on every phone?
- The outline ring is the safest and has been supported for years. Square and solid shapes occasionally fall back to an empty box on older devices.
