About the Random NCAA Football Team
Eighty-one FBS programs sit behind this button, covering the whole SEC and Big Ten, the full ACC and Big 12, Notre Dame as an independent, and a spread of Group of Five sides such as Boise State, Tulane, Liberty and Toledo. Every result names the school, the nickname and the conference, which is the part most lists leave out.
The conference tags were written after the 2024 moves, so Texas and Oklahoma appear under the SEC, the four former Pac-12 schools sit in the Big Ten, and Cal, Stanford and SMU show up in the ACC. That matters if you are using the draw to build a schedule or to decide which conference race to follow, because an out-of-date label sends you looking at the wrong standings.
